Malcolm Kelly - President and CEO

Malcolm Kelly is a foremost thinker and teacher in the field of personal growth and self-reliance. He is a Social Philosopher whose books, articles, and speeches contribute to improving the human conditions in our society.

Malcolm conducts empowerment solutions™ workshops that focus on a new way to think and live. He is a keynote speaker, lecturer, and panelist for diverse business, educational, and social organizations throughout the country. As a writer, he shares his thought-provoking ideas in books, online blogs, and major newspapers. His social philosophy teaches individuals how to accept personal responsibility and develop a self-reliance action plan to overcome victim consciousness.

Malcolm has a diverse background in business, education, and social organizations. He has served as chairman of the Oakland Civil Services Commission, a director of the Bay Area Urban League, president of the Alameda County Industry Education Council, and a successful business owner.

He has B.A and M.A. degrees in Philosophy, and was a student of renowned Stanford professor of Philosophy, Dr. John Goheen. He continues his education by developing workshops to change the dysfunctional behavior that causes individuals to think of themselves as victims.

He is the author of the highly acclaimed books The New African American Man and Let There Be Life. His forthcoming book, Seeds from the Ashes, reflects his latest ideas on self-reliance and personal growth. He is president of MKA Consulting Services and the founder of the National BYE Society.
